Product information "Viledon thin, 30g/m², 1 x50m"

This thermally bonded non-woven polyester with longitudinally oriented fibres has a basis weight of 30 g/m². It is water-permeable as well as resistant to solvents and remains dimensionally stable when wet. It can be used when pressing and weighing down paper with a smooth but not shiny surface. It does not stick when there is excess adhesive. It is comparable with our non-woven Microjet, which is no longer produced, as well as with Bondina.
Also used in the restoration of paintings for supporting the paint layer: water-soluble adhesive is used for fixation and the non-woven fabric can be removed after the paint layer has been stabilised, without leaving fibres behind.
